Description

The purpose of the KTS study is to help set up a monitoring and reporting system and support the monitoring and reporting process to follow up and promote the implementation of the Commission's 2008 Recommendation on the management of intellectual property in knowledge transfer activities and Code of Practice for universities and other public research organisations. The monitoring and reporting system is to build both on the implementation by the Member States of the policies and measures they have introduced and on the impact the Recommendation has had on knowledge transfer activities of Public Research Organisations and Universities performing research. The project covers more than 30 countries extending well beyond the EU Member States. The activities are supported by experts and national correspondents from empirica's ENIR network (www.enir.org) in the different countries.
