Benchmarking policies on multi-stakeholder partnerships for e-skills in Europe

Client

European Commission Directorate-General Enterprise and Industry

Duration

November 2006 - November 2007

Description

The study “Benchmarking policies on multi-stakeholder partnerships for e-skills in Europe“, was launched by the European Commission DG Enterprise and Industry in late 2006 and was carried out by empirica GmbH, Bonn (Germany).
As part of this study, multi-stakeholder partnerships for e-skills development and related policies were identified using a network of National Correspondents from all EU25 Member States as well as Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Romania and Turkey. The policies and partnerships identified were analysed and evaluated. This resulted in twenty good practice case studies, a benchmarking framework, and recommendations for policy action.
Findings were actively disseminated by means of a dedicated website, a major stakeholder workshop as well as a brochure distributed widely across Europe.

The project covered more than 30 European countries with national correspondents from the ENIR network.
